CANACONA – The Puneet Sagar Abhiyan (PSA) celebration was held in Shree Mallikarjun & Shri Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona by NCC wing Army of 1goaGirls Battalion Army.
According to directions received from higher-ups, the G-20 summit is culminating at New Delhi , and to landmark the event a special mega Puneet Sagar Abhiyan event was held on Saturday at Dhempe College , Miramar, Holy Rosary HS, Nuvem and Shree Mallikarjun College, Canacona.
At Canacona, the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan celebration was held in Shree Mallikarjun & Shri Chetan Manju Desai College Canacona by NCC wing Army of 1goaGirls Battalion Army. The NCC cadets Army of College and Shri Mallikarjun High-School performed the Nukkad Natak in the college campus from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The street play NUKKAD NATAK highlighting the importance of preventing plastic pollution was performed.
This was a special Puneet Sagar Abhiyan of G20 activity. On this occasion a Senior reporter Ajit Paiguinkar witnessed the program of Nukkad Natak and guided the students /cadets to start the cleanliness from the self’/own self and spread the awareness message even to community society in the public places such as market and bus stand to highlight the awareness stating that it is the need of the hour.
The Nukkad Natak was written, Composed and directed by Mr. Premjit Velip.
The students and staff witnessed the program of Puneet Sagar Abhiyan. The officiating Principal Dr. Sucheta Naik, IQAC Coordinator Vividh Pawaskar, and Head clerk Shri Ramdas Sawant and Mrs Yojana Naik in charge of NCC from Shri Mallikarjun School were formally present for the Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan Program.
A total of 100 cadets of NCC ARMY belong to 1goagirls battalion ,52 cadets of Shree Mallikarjun College and 50 cadets and 1 CTO Yojana Naik of Shree Mallikarjun HS were present on the occasion and performed the Nukkad Natak.
The program was coordinated and organized by Lt Karishma Parsekar, Associate NCC Officer. The program was held under the coordination of Col Roby Tom commanding Officer of 1 Goagirls Battalion Peddem, Mapusa and Officiating Principal Dr. Sucheta Naik of Shree Mallikarjun & Shri Chetan Manju Desai College, Canacona.
