MAPUSA: The Mandrem police have arrested one in an attempt to murder case on Wednesday.
As per DySP Jivba Dalvi on Tuesday the Mandrem police received a complaint from one Mrs Namita Namdev Bhisaji R/o Nhaiginwada Parsem to the effect that on 20/05/2024 accused person namely Mr Darshan s/o Rama Bhisaji assaulted the son of the Complainant with a metal rod multiple times on his head and also kicked on the body of her son thereby causing him bleeding injuries to his head.
In this connection registered offence and investigation were taken up wherein the accused person namely Darshan s/o Rama Bhisaji r/o Nhaiginwada Parsem was apprehended and placed under arrest in the aforesaid crime.
The victim namely Mr Gauresh Bhisaji Age 42 years is presently undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim. Investigation revealed that the accused person is a habitual criminal who is involved in body offences registered at Pernem P.S.
The accused person is remanded to 6 Days of Police Custody and further investigation is in progress.
