PANAJI: The Margao Aquatic team excelled with medals in the recently held 35th Goa State Senior Aquatic Championship 2024.
The Championship organized by the Goa Swimming Association was held at Ponda Swimming Pool on 24 & 25 August, with around 100 participants from all over Goa.
The Margao Aquatic Team Excelled in Various swimming events held under the guidance of Inacio Raposo Swimming Coach, Sudesh Nagvenkar, Secretary and Francis Clark, Treasurer of Goa Swimming Association.
Aarav Vaghela won 5 medals in the men’s group.
• Silver medal in Indiual medley 400 mtr secured 2nd place.
– Silver medal in Freestyle 800mtr secured 2nd place.
– Bronze medal in Butterfly stroke 200mtr secured 3rd place.
– Gold Medal in 4×100 Freestyle Relay secured 1st place.
– Bronze medal in 4×200 Freestyle Relay secured 3rd place.
Nigel Mark Raposo Won 3 medals in the men’s group.
– Bronze medal in 100m breaststroke secured 3rd place.
– Bronze medal in 200m breaststroke Secured 3rd place.
– Bronze medal in 4x100m freestyle relay secured 3rd place.
Nathan Rafael Raposo Won 2 medals in the men’s group.
– Silver medal in 200m butterfly secured 2nd place.
– Bronze medal in 4x200m freestyle relay secured 3rd place.
Macqui Ruben Mascarenhas Won 2 medals in the men’s group.
– Bronze medal in 400 IM secured 3rd place.
– Bronze medal in 4×200 freestyle relay secured 3rd place.
Esha Ravindra Deulker Won 2 medals in the women’s group.
-Bronze medal in 400m IM secured 3rd place.
-Bronze medal in 4 x100 m medley relay secured 3rd place.
Soha Yogesh Dalal Won 5 medals in the women’s group.
-Silver medal in IM secured 2nd place.
-Bronze medal in 4x 100 m medley relay secured 3rd place
-Bronze medal in 4×100 m freestyle relay secured 3rd place
-Bronze medal in 4×100 m medley relay secured 3rd place
-Bronze medal in 4×200 m freestyle relay secured 3rd place
Sachi Quiran Chari Won 4 medals in the women’s group
-Bronze medal in 200 m butterfly secured 3rd place
-Silver medal in 4x100m medlay relay secured 2nd place.
– Bronze medal in 4×100m freestyle relay secured 3rd place
-Bronze medal in 4×200m freestyle relay secured 3rd place.
The Margao Aquatic Team won medals in various events in Aquatic like Butterfly, Free Style, backstroke, Bbreaststrokeswimming events and Relay.
