PANJIM: Medical experts from AIIMS, Delhi arrived in Goa today to monitor treatment given to Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik. Naik had tested positive for COVID19 and is admitted in a private hospital.
The team of specialists from AIIMS, Delhi consists of HoD, Anaesthesiology and HoD, Pulmonary Medicine.
The Minister is on High Flow Nasal Oxygen (HFNO) for maintaining his oxygen saturation level, the release yesterday said
“The first dose of convalescent plasma has also been administered to him yesterday, under the supervision of the Transfusion Medicine Specialist who recently joined Goa from AIIMS, New Delhi and he is responding well to the plasma therapy,” the release says
