PANAJI: Motorists using the NH-66 link road connecting to Manohar International Airport, Mopa, will have to pay revised toll charges from August 10, with the new tariff set to remain in force until March 31.
The biggest change is for cars and other light motor vehicles, for which the single-journey toll has been increased to ₹45 from the existing ₹19.70.
Under the revised structure, a return journey completed within 24 hours will cost ₹70. Commuters making frequent trips can opt for a 50-trip monthly pass priced at ₹1,575.
Eligible local residents will continue to have access to a separate monthly pass, which has been revised to ₹360 from ₹350.
North Goa-registered taxis, meanwhile, will benefit from a lower toll. Their charge has been reduced to ₹25 per trip from the earlier ₹32.50.
The revised schedule also specifies charges for larger vehicles. LCVs and mini-buses will attract a toll of ₹75, while buses and two-axle trucks will be charged ₹160.
Vehicles with three axles will have to pay ₹175, while the charge for heavy vehicles with four to six axles has been fixed at ₹250. Vehicles with seven or more axles will attract the highest rate of ₹305 per trip.
The revised tariff will apply to vehicles using the NH-66 link road leading towards Manohar International Airport, Mopa, from August 10.
