Mandrem: In a major blow to the Congress ahead od Zilla Parishad polls, the Congress candidate virtually withdrawn from the contest and extended support to MGP Zilla Panchayat candidate .
Addressing press conference, the Congress candiate Mahesh Konadkar announced that he would extend support to MGP candidate Shridhar Mandrekar.
“I am extending my personal support to MGP candidate Shridhar in my personal capacity. I have taken the decision to aboid split of votes,” he said.
MGPs Jit Arolkar said, there is no major issue as the Congress is directly support ing MGP candidates in many constituencies.
