SANCOALE: Officer of the Mormugao Block Development Office ( BDO ) has raised strong objection on EHN House numbers issued by Sancoale Panchayat secretary without Panchayat body meeting resolution/ approvals and without site inspection.
An memorandum issued on 28th May by the Mormugao Block BDO officer Emanuel Da Costa mentioned three memorandums issued to the panchayat secretary on earlier occasions
” Sub : Strong objection on EHN House numbers ( i.e above 2000 EHN House numbers issued by Sancoale Village Panchayat secretary
without Panchayat body meeting resolution/ approval and without site inspection .
Read Memorandum issued by Director of Panchayat ,Panjim dated 22nd April, Read Memorandum issued by BDO -1 ( HQ ) Director of Panchayat ,Panjim dated 1st April , Read Memorandum issued by Block Development Officer , Mormugao Block, Vasco Da Gama, dated 15th April.
Attention of the Village Panchayat Secretary , Village Panchayat Sancoale is hereby invited to the above refered memorandum on the above cited subject, wherein vide memorandum no 3 – EOVP/ BDO – Mor/ 8 – Complaint / 2024-2025 / 63 dated 15.04.2024 issued by Block Development Officer, Mormugao Block, Vasco da Gama,Goa . He was directed to inquire into the said matter and take necessary action as per the Goa Panchayati Raj Act ,1994 and submit action taken report in this matter along with related documents / records . However, it is observed that you have not submitted report to the said Memorandum till date.
In this regards , this office again is in receipt of another memorandum vide no 16/22/DP/ PG /Offline / 01/Mormugao/ 2024/3620 dated 22.04.2024 recieved from the Director of Panchayat , Panaji- Goa.
In view of the above , the concerned village panchayat secretary of village panchayat Sancoale is hereby once again directed to submit your report to the said Memorandum within a period of 03 days from the issue of this memorandum ” said the memorandum
