What is the need for an international property consultant? Is Goa for you just a property? Which do you want to sell wholesale? The property consultants, brokers, or agents are required when you want to buy or sell the property and not plan the property.
For planning, you require architects, engineers etc.; why brokers? It seems like the destructive plans to destroy Goa further have already begun, which was quite obvious the day you said there was no need for a Tiger reserve in Goa, and the Tigers were non-Goans.
Instead of deciding on the property consultants, 16B and ODPs, Goans would have appreciated you if you had taken a decision on Regional Plan, which has been put on a back-burner for a decade now.

“We shall be bringing in an international property consultant that will help to bring uniformed planning, a plan that is modern in nature in order to preserve Goa’s uniqueness.” Vishwajit Rane, TCP Minister.
Well, just one paragraph of his tweets made his intentions clear. The new Minister for Town and Country Planning, Vishwajit Rane, has “Vitamin M” written all over his first Board Meeting.
In fact, if you leave aside just one decision – which may be termed as pro-people, the rest seems to be “Money Planning” written all over it.
The minister said that up to 500 sq meters, there is no need for approvals from TCP and PDAs, and architects will be empanelled. In fact, what we need to see is whether the architects will raise their fees to give such attestation of building plans?
Secondly, reviewing Outline Development Plan (ODPs), all Goans know is the easy way of making money for the PDA chairpersons and the TCP ministers.
During the last term, some activists exposed Babu Kavlekar, who was TCP Minister, to how the commission or money for land conversions was shared by the PDA chairman, TCP Minister, Member Secretaries, and so also the local MLA.
The third major decision was the 16B cases or the CASH to CASH basis cases for land conversion.
Why was there a need to consider the proposal at the first meeting? Does it not prove that the minister is interested in the money coming through 16B conversions? Why not wait for the High Court to pronounce its judgement in the case?
But for every minister, who takes over TCP, the most lucrative thing is the ODPs and the 16B, even though there is no clarity on the 16B amendment to the TCP act, which has been challenged in High Court.
Just going through the media reports, some claimed that the approvals by architects as revolutionary decisions.
Well, I read over and over again but could not find anything revolutionary in the decision.
The decision was announced by the Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant, on several occasions, including in this Budget speech, so Vishwajit Rane cannot take any credit for a decision taken by the Chief Minister.
Now the third issue is that Vishwajit Rane wants to bring in an international property consultant to plan a modern Goa and, at the same time, save its uniqueness.
Well, Mr Rane, your whole plan has been undone by just one tweet of yours. Goans have realised what destructive plans you hold for Goa.
