Goa Congress Desk Incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao today has said that his statement has been misinterpreted on the Mhadei issue.
“My statement has been misinterpreted as news of the Mahadi issue. The case of the Mahadai River water allocation dispute is in the Supreme Court. It was my view that the issue should finally be settled by the court,” Rao said in a series of tweets
Former Karnataka Minister and Congress Goa desk in-charge, Dinesh Gundu Rao, had declined to comment on the contentious Mhadei river water diversion, the issue that has triggered a major conflict between Goa and Karnataka.
