Margao: “Bilkis Bano Gang Rape & murder convicts to go back to Jail. Supreme Court rescinds Remission Order, pulls up BJP Government in Gujarat for Granting Remission to 11 Men convicted for the Henious Cime. Naari Shakti Zindabad!,” stated Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
Reacting to the Order passed by the Supreme Court Cancelling the Order passed by the Gujarat Government to release 11 Men Convicted for Raping Bilkis Bano and Murdering Seven Members of her Family in 2002, Yuri Alemao said that Women Power is always Supreme.
“Supreme Court judgement has once again completely exposed the Anti-Women and Pro-Criminal Agenda of BJP. Supreme Court has ruled that Gujarat Government was “Not Competent Enough” to pass such an Order and termed the move as “Fraud Act”,”| pointed Yuri Alemao.
“I want to remind the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on long pending investigation of Mysterious Death of Siddhi Naik. Government should take lessons from this Judgement and expedite in investigation and nab the Culprits responsible for the Death of an Innocent Girl. Any further delay will prove that Goa Government is also trying to Protect Criminals who snatched away Life of Young Girl”,” said Yuri Alemao.
BJP Governments have always tried to shield Criminals by victimising Girls and Women. There are many incidents where Criminals and Anti-Socials have received Blessings from BJP Ministers and Office Bearers. This needs to stop permanently, stated Yuri Alemao.
“Criminals are Criminals and they should be dealt with Iron Hand. It is most unfortunate that some Criminals are given special treatment based on their Political Affiliation and Religion. Innocent People especially Women should get complete Safety and Security from Governments in Power,” said Yuri Alemao.
