PANAJI: A person was duped to the tune of rupees Rs 22 lakh by cyber criminals on the pretext of helping with financial aid for the treatment of an ailing daughter.
A Complaint against an unknown has been filed at the cyber crimes cell of Goa police to this effect.
The person whose daughter is suffering from a kidney ailment was promised assistance through government schemes by the fraudster.
