Pernem Police today arrested one Russian national namely Mark Smyslov, presently residing at Kannaikwada Morjim for having illegal possession of Narcotics drugs Charas weighing Half kgs (500 gms) Worth Rs.5,00,000/- in international market.
Today PI Pernem Jivba Dalvi received specific information from his sources that one Russian national namely Mark Smyslov has concealed narcotic drugs in grey colour Maruti Swift car bearing No. GA-11-A-2957 which he is using on rental basis and will be delivering narcotic drugs to his prospective customer on 04/08/2021 between 16.15 hrs to 16.30 hrs at near Goan Kitchen Restaurant, Temwada Morjim.
Acting upon the information, PI Jivba Dalvi formed a team consisting of PSI Sanjit Kandolkar, HC Pravin mahale, PC Vinod Pednekar, Arjun Kalangutkar, Sandesh Varak and Mahesh Naik and conducted a raid wherein said Mr. Mark Smyslov was caught red handed for having illegal possession of Narcotics drugs Charas weighing / kgs W/Rs.5,00,000/- which he had concealed in Maruti Swift car bearing No. GA-11-A-2957.
The said Russian along with drugs and swift car bearing No. GA-11-A-2957 is: taken into custody.
Pernem police station registered Crime u/s 20(b)(ii) (B) of NDPS act 1985.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SDPO Mapusa Shri. Gajanan Prabhudesai and SP North Shri.Shobit Saxena.
