CURCHOREM: Curchorem Congress leader Amit Patkar has criticized Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and local MLA Nilesh Cabral for holding the program at government at your doorstep programme in the parking lot of the new Community Health Center at Curchorem.
Patkar questioned when the government will formally inaugurate the community health centre?
“Why is the local MLA Nilesh Cabral not responded yet and demanded immediate inauguration of health centre which is the need of the hour?” he asked.
He added, “we know in last two years in a pandemic situation many people and families a faced a hard time. Some innocent people lost life due to Covid 19.”
Patkar spoke at the prize ceremony at Pontemol ground, where he was invited as the chief guest during the final match.
He further said that it was an insult to Curchorcars that the government had organized this program at government at your doorstep in the parking lot before the inauguration of the community health center.
“It was more important to start the health center than this program at this critical time,” he stated.
Patkar further said that there is no question of who is a candidate here, “it is a different matter whether I get the Congress ticket or not, but as Curchorcar, I feel sorry that no development has taken place in the last few years.”
Patkar said If Curchorem wants to take a leap in sports, it needs the proper infrastructure that is not yet ready in the constituency.
