PANAJI: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said the government is extending full support to Public Works Department (PWD) officials to resolve all issues related to the Porvorim flyover within seven days.
Khaunte said a step has already been taken towards addressing the concerns with access to Atal Setu being opened for residents of Porvorim.
He said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has directed PWD officials to take up and resolve the issues related to the flyover on priority.
Khaunte also alleged that some people were attempting to politicise the matter, while maintaining that the government was focused on finding solutions to the issues faced by residents.
The minister said the government would continue to support the PWD in resolving the pending concerns within the stipulated seven-day period.
