Kishor may be a giant in political strategy and has a knack of winning elections, but Goa has shown him that only money and muscle power do not win you seats.
Goa realised long back that Kishor and TMC were in Goa only to defeat the Congress, which was on its way to the majority. Yes, we mean it… If the battle was between BJP, Congress and AAP, Congress could have gained a majority on its own.
Congress president Girish Chodankar has been saying from Day One that TMC is in Goa only to split Congress votes, and that seems so true.

In a shocking revelation, earlier this week, the I-PAC chief Prashant Kishor disclosed that he was never actively involved in Goa elections. Well, that was some kind of news to the Goans, who had cried foul the very moment he landed in Goa with his team of jokers – Derek-o-Brian and Mahua Moitra.
None of the Trinamool Congress’s leaders purchased in Goa, be it Luizinho Faleiro, Aleixo Reginald Lourenco, Churchill Alemao, Valanka Alemao or be it an alliance with Dhavalikar Brother’s MGP, met Mamata Banerjee or Didi. All the deals were brokered by Prashant Kishor himself in his lavish five-star hotels.
From day one, the leaders who joined the TMC complained that the I-PAC gave them no access to the TMC, and everything was handled by them.
Not only did the Kishor family disown the leaders it purchased for TMC, but it also disowned the youth of Goa, who had been employed for the last three months or so.
The poor youth, who were already hurt by Dr Pramod Sawant’s faulty recruitment policy, joined I-PAC with the hope of making a living for at least three months, but their salaries haven’t been paid.
Kishor, in an interview, told a newspaper that he wasn’t involved in Goa elections, but that seems like a joke.
The statement comes after he has discovered that TMC will even fail to open an account this election, which will severely dent his image throughout the country. The political strategist does not want to go jobless with several high-profile elections scheduled in a year, like the Gujarat, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh going to polls in December 2022 to 2023.
It is already being heard that TRS has offered him Rs 500 cr deal for the upcoming elections, and that is huge, isn’t it?

TMC and Kishore were never interested in winning elections, they just wanted to keep Congress out of power, and in the bargain, if they got two-three seats, that would be considered as a bonus.
Now with the TMC cutting into votes in Salcete, BJP certainly sees a glimmer of hope of becoming the single largest party in Goa on March 10. Because Salcete was the bone in the flesh for the BJP, and to divide the Salcete votes, it looks like BJP planted the TMC.
The TMC president in Goa, Kiran Kandolkar, said that the I-PAC had disowned the candidates, and he too wanted to quit only to make a mega U-turn the next day.
This is the fate of the leaders who ran after TMC only for money and March 10 will reveal how much these leaders have betrayed Goa.
