PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that BJP will never forget the sacrifices done by Nilesh Cabral while saying ‘Radpachi Garaz Na’.
“Nilesh and me are friends even before becoming MLAs. We are close friends; He has sacrificed for the party and party will never forget,” said Sawant while speaking at the inauguration of Curchorem Health centre.
The Chief Minister further said that Cabral resigned without any hesitation for the party and interest of state government.
“Cabral resigned in the interest of the party and state government on party’s request,” said CM.
Cabral, who represents the Curchorem Assembly constituency, also held the portfolios of Law and Judiciary, Environment and Climate Change, and Legislative Affairs.
This is the first rejig in the state Cabinet after the Pramod Sawant-led BJP formed the government in Goa.
