Even as the villagers are agitated over the work, the Railways has said it will continue with the work as they have all requisite permissions.
Rail Vikas Nigam officials, said they have requisite permissions for work.
“The work at Chandor level crossing on November 2 and Davorlim Level crossing on November 9 will take place as per schedule,” the official said.
He said the railways will take police support for the completion of the work.
South Goa Collector Ajit Roy said that the permission for work has been granted based on rules.
