MANDREM: Mandrem Police have registered a case against a 40-year-old Russian national for allegedly staying illegally in India without a valid travel document or visa.
According to police, the case was registered on October 4, 2026, at around 11.24 pm following a complaint lodged by PSI Laximan Dessai, aged 29, attached to Mandrem Police Station.
The accused, identified by police as Taraslavliuluchie Slavianinskıf, was allegedly found at around 5.15 pm near Raj Super Market at Madlawada, Morjim, Pernem, without valid travel documents, including a visa, thereby allegedly contravening Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
Police arrested the accused at around 11.28 pm on the same day.
Further investigation in the case is being conducted by PSI Kunal Naik of Mandrem Police Station.
