PANAJI: The tradition of expressing gratitude to the Guru on the day of Guru Pournima has been going on since time immemorial. On Guru Poornima day, the Guru Principal works 1000 times more than a usual day.
Thus, in order to get society to benefit from the same , Sanatan Sanstha has organised Guru Pournima festival at Ponda, Panaji, Mapusa and Sakhali, i.e. at four places in Goa on Monday, 3rd July. The Guru Poornima Festival will held at Nandanvan Hall, Patantali, Nageshi, Ponda at 4.30 pm; Sri Mahalakshmi Devasthan, Panaji at 5 pm;
Sri Siddhapurush Narayanadev Hall at KankaBandh, Mapusa at 5 pm and Delmon hall, Opposite Ravindra Bhavan, Sakhali at 5 pm.
In this festival, Shri Vyas Pujan and H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj’s idol worship (Gurupujan) will be done and special guidance will be given by distinguished speakers on the topic of ‘Constitutional and Righteous Hindu Rashtra!’ Sanatan Sanstha has appealed to everyone to participate and get benefit from this festival
