PANAJI: The Directorate of Transport has issued 3654 challans for the month of September 2023 for various traffic violations.
The Directorate of Transport today has issued a monthly report of the accidents and Challans for the month September 2023.
As per the report, 227 road accidents out of which 14 were Fatal Accidents (North Goa – 06 and South Goa –08), 11 Grievous Accidents (North Goa – 08 and South Goa –03), 47 Minor Accidents (North Goa – 17 and South Goa – 30) and 155 Non – Injury Accidents (North Goa – 75 and South Goa –80).
The total number of persons who lost their lives in road accidents are 16 (North Goa – 08 and South Goa – 08), 07 Riders, 01 P/Riders, 03 Driver and 02 Pedestrians lost their lives in these accidents. 12 people were Grievously Injured (North–10 and South –02) while 82 persons suffered Minor Injuries (North – 31, South – 51).
