MARGAO: The Office of the Collector & District Magistrate, South Goa, has constituted a District Level Committee to carry out the physical audit of all examination centres designated for the National Testing Agency (NTA)-conducted NEET (UG) 2026 examination in the district.
As per the order issued by the Magisterial Section, the committee has been formed in line with NTA guidelines to ensure transparent, fair, secure and smooth conduct of examinations across South Goa.
The committee will comprise Deputy Collector and District Revenue Officer Avelina Dsa E Pereira, who will represent the District Magistrate; Deputy Superintendent of Police (South) Sidhant Shirodkar, representing the Superintendent of Police, South Goa; Principal of KV No. 2 Vasco Narendra Singh Rathore, serving as Nodal Officer; and Prof. (Dr.) Gervasio S. F. L. Mendes, Additional Director of Higher Education and District Educational Officer.
According to the order, the committee members are required to jointly visit all designated examination centres as per the list provided by the NTA and conduct a comprehensive physical audit to assess preparedness and compliance.
The District Level Coordination Committee has also been directed to submit feedback through the prescribed online link after completion of inspections, along with uploading a certificate of compliance.
Authorities stated that the exercise is aimed at strengthening examination security, ensuring standardised procedures, and maintaining the integrity of the NEET (UG) 2026 examination process in South Goa.
