PANAJI: Reacting to the Bhutani project, the BJP Goa President Sadanand Tanavade said that the issue won’t arise if we Goans stop selling land to outsiders.
“Have to look at who issued permissions for Bhutani project; issues like Bhutani project won’t arise if we Goans stop selling land to outsiders,” said Tanavade.
He further it must be found out who accorded sanctions to Bhutani and whose government was there at that point in time.
“As far as I know, it started in 2007. Sanad was issued in that year while environment clearance was given in 2009. I have no documents. But it is easier to make accusations,” said Tanavade
He also said that the opposition should look at itself before making allegations against us.
“Issues like Bhutani will not arise if the Goans do not sell land to outsiders,” he added.
