DHARBANDORA: A striped tiger was found dead at Sakorda in Dharbandora on Saturday, triggering concern among wildlife and forest authorities.
Sources said the carcass of the big cat was spotted in the area and officials from the Forest Department were informed soon after the discovery.
A team of forest personnel is expected to conduct an inspection and initiate further procedures, including a post-mortem examination, to ascertain the cause of death.
Officials are yet to release details regarding the age, sex, or condition of the animal at the time it was found.
