Panaji: The Goa Badminton Association will conduct an intensive summer badminton coaching camp from May 11 to June 6, 2026, at the Indoor Stadium in Campal, Panaji, and the Ponda Indoor Complex. The initiative aims to provide young players with structured training and an opportunity to develop their skills in a professional environment.
Organised under the Centre of Excellence programme and supported by the Padukone School of Badminton, the camp is open to boys and girls aged six years and above. It is designed to cater to both beginners and intermediate level participants, with focused one hour training sessions scheduled in the morning from 9:30 am and again in the evening from 3:00 pm.
The programme will be conducted in well equipped indoor facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable training environment. Participants will receive coaching based on scientific methods, helping them build strong fundamentals while improving fitness, technique, and game awareness.
Certified advanced coaches trained under the Padukone School of Badminton will lead the sessions, offering professional guidance and personalised attention. The camp is structured to promote overall development, combining technical training with discipline and confidence building.
This summer initiative presents an excellent opportunity for young badminton enthusiasts across Goa to engage in the sport, sharpen their abilities, and experience high quality coaching standards.
