PANAJI: BJP President Sadanand Tanavade today took a dig at INDIA bloc, stating that people are slowly withdrawing support.
“Take a look at INDI block, people are slowly withdrawing support. BJP will with both Lok Sabha seats with over 50% margin,” said Tanavade while addressing a press conference.
He further said that BJP target is to secure more that 50 percent votes in both the Lok Sabha seats.
“We are not scared of AAP, even if all the opposition parties come together we are not worried. We are sure that BJP will win both the seats in North and South Goa,” he said.
Tanavade also said that CM along with other state BJP President chaired a meeting in Delhi to discuss the strategy for Lok Sabha Polls.
“We have discussed the strategies in yesterday’s meeting. We have also forwarded names of 4 from North Goa and 5 from South Goa. Parliamentary board to decide on candidatature,” BJP State president informed.
He said that Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda held separate meetings with party leaders from several states including Goa.
“We gave a detailed report on the poll preparations in Goa. Our senior leaders discussed the poll strategy to ensure BJP’s massive victory this time too,” Tanavade said.

also submitted the probable candidates’ political background to the Parliamentary Board to make its decision,” Tanavade said.
He also said that the Board will once again meet on Thursday to finalise the names for Goa’s two seats while the announcement is expected either on the same day or before the Model Code of Conduct.
