Washington: JD Vance revealed that recent talks between the United States and Iran in Pakistan failed to produce a breakthrough because the Iranian delegation did not have the authority to finalise any agreement.
Speaking after the discussions, Vance stated that the negotiating team present at the talks was unable to conclude a deal independently and would need approval from senior leadership in Tehran. This limitation, he indicated, was a key reason why the negotiations ended without any concrete outcome.
