VASCO: Vasco Police has arrested three persons for committing theft of supply fitting worth Rs 12.85 lakhs from Public Works Department (PWD) storeroom at Sada.
The accused have been identified as Nagu Gollar (age 50 years), Onba Rathod (age 40 years) and Apanna Rathod (age 40 years).
The stolen goods have been recovered from Gollar’s scrapyard at Birla.
Vasco police apprehended the trio after they were found moving suspiciously near Chicalim joggers park.
All the three accused have confessed to the crime, informed the Vasco police.
“During interrogation they have confessed that they had stolen some water fitting from the PWD storeroom at Sada” said Police.
