BENAULIM: Three persons were operated for cataract free of cost under the AAP Benaulim constituency free cataract operation scheme on the occasion of the birthday of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who is the mentor of AAP Benaulim MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas.
AAP Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas had launched a unique scheme for free cataract operations for the people of Benaulim constituency on the 9th of August revealing that a few operations will be done on August 16.
Capt Venzy who considers Arvind Kejriwal as his political mentor and follows his leadership right from the time of IAC movement has said that he strongly believes in the principles that education is the backbone of the country and if a country has to prosper education is a must to each an every one and their children and if one needs to educate their children health is a major parameter.
“The whole idea was that today on the birthday of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Capt Venzy has successfully done these three cataract operations of locals of Benaulim constituency under the unique agreement with Vision Clinic. Healthy children will definitely excel well and will be able to do better which will in return have India have a better and faster developing nation as India reaches 100. This is only going to make India No. 1,” Viegas said on the occasion.
With this strong belief as a token of appreciation with all that his mentor Arvind Kejriwal has been doing to India for the people of Delhi and mentoring states like Punjab, Goa, Gujarat as a mark of respect on his birthday that the 16th of August Capt Venzy has successfully completed three cataract operations at the Vision clinic today.
“There are a few more cataract operations lined up in the months to come and Capt Venzy calls out to the people of Benaulim constituency to come and visit the Vision Clinic, check their eyes, healthy eyesight is of great value to every person,” Capt Viegas added.
