After the brutal murder of Margao based jeweler Swapnil Walke, another well-know businessman and philanthropist Ricardo Joseph D’Souza, who is the co-owner of world renowned Tito’s-Mambos club, has claimed he was threatened by a drug dealer from Morjim few months ago.
Taking to social media, D’Souza said the Margao murder is a stark reminder of the dangers faced by businessmen in Goa.
“I myself, was threatened by a thug and drug dealer from Morjim who claimed he had put a contract on me a few months ago. Like Swapnil, i too can be under a supari and not know until the time is too late,” he said.
D’Souza further said that the drug dealer even had the audacity to tell that the local MLA was behind the supari.
“I know its not true and was a pressure tactic but the police should investigate the whole cartel that is behind this or I will be forced to begin taking action against all of them on my own because – As God is my witness – I am not afraid- just angry,” he wrote.
