Panaji: The Aam Aadmi Party today slammed the Sawant sarkar for failing its promises to Goa and Goenkars. At a time when the Pramod Sawant Govt is running a PR campaign called Sarkar Tumchya Daari and making tall claims of how the Swayampurna Goa campaign has helped 10k Goan a Ubor Fator Village in Quepem constituency still has to receive power and water supplies. The reality in this village that is echoed across rural Goa.
The residents of Ubor Faotr complain that they have to walk hours to the nearest bus stop. This puts both their lives and their jobs at risk. Their lack of power means that they have no way of being part of the modern world. While other villages suffer due to network connectivity issues Ubor Fator cannot even have appliances. Pramod Sawant makes a big deal of Har Ghar Nal and his fake free water scheme but in Ubor Fator residents have to walk many KMs in the morning to get access to water.
“Goenkars are tired of Pramod Sawant’s false promises. The fact of the matter is that he is unable to provide even the most basic amenities to Goans” said AAP Goa Joint Secretary Raul Perriera
“Goenkars are watching how the Sawant Sarkar’s jumlas are being exposed daily. It is shocking that in the 21st Centruty we have villages without electricity and water in Goa. Is this what Pramod Sawant meant by Har Ghar Jal?” said AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre.
