VASCO: An unidentified man, estimated to be around 45–50 years old, was found lying near the RTO Office at Baina, Vasco, on August 15.
According to police, a phone call was received from Robot staff at around 1.26 pm informing them about the man. He was subsequently shifted to SDH Chicalim by 108 ambulance personnel.
However, the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.
During the enquiry, police visited SDH Chicalim and conducted an inquest panchanama over the deceased. The body was later preserved at SGDH Margao for further medico-legal formalities.
Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station.
