PANAJI: A voluntary blood donation camp was successfully organised at Goa Dental College and Hospital (GDCH) through the joint efforts of the Trained Nurses Association, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, GDCH, and the Blood Bank of Goa Medical College (GMC).
The initiative witnessed participation from 58 donors who came forward to contribute towards saving lives, reflecting a strong sense of community responsibility and compassion within the healthcare ecosystem.
Praising the effort, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said, “This initiative is a powerful example of seva and collective responsibility in action. It reflects the true spirit of care that defines our healthcare ecosystem.”
He further added, “Such people-led movements inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji strengthen Jan Bhagidari, where every citizen becomes a stakeholder in nation-building.”
The minister also expressed gratitude to all donors and organisers, noting that their selfless contribution would help save numerous lives and reinforce the culture of compassion in society.
