PANAJI: Reacting to recent joinings in Congress Party, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said who joins whom is not important, but it is evident that BJP will win the 2022 elections with the absolute majority.
“Who joins whom is not important. People will join parties for tickets. What is important is, we will win with a thumping majority.” said CM Sawant.
He further said that he discussed the overall political situation in the state with Union home minister Amit Shah during his recent visit to Gujarat.
“Election in-charge of Goa, Ex-CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and co-in charges Union minister for culture and tourism G Kishan Reddy and Union minister of state for railways and textiles Darshana Jardosh will arrive in Goa on September 20,” he added.
CM Sawant said that the senior national leaders will plan the election strategy for Goa in consultation with the BJP core team and local leaders.
