QUEPEM: Newly elected Quepem MLA Altone D’costa pledged to streamline the administrative works from the Quepem constituency for the welfare of the people.
He said his main objective will be to complete pending fish market work and improve administrative services from all departmental offices from Quepem.
“I will fulfil those promises which were assured in my election manifesto, and I will solve the common man’s issues in Quepem constituency,” said Alton D’Costa in a victory rally in Quepem.
While speaking to the media, D’costa said he would work for the welfare and development of the Quepem constituency. Also, he expressed his gratitude towards the people of the Quepem that he got 14,000 votes and lead of around 3′,800 votes.
He further added that his first priority is a complete fish market complex whose 40% work is still incomplete, which will be completed, D’costa said. Furthermore, he said we have to do special work to put administration work in the right place because there are many issues and complaints in administrative work in Quepem, especially in some departments D’costa mentioned.
Also, when asked about Quepem municipality, he said my vision is to make development and unity in my constituency. There should not be any politics regarding the development and welfare of the Quepem constituency, D’Costa said.
