PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that he would not allow anyone to grab government lands.
“I will not allow anyone to grab land owned by the state government Illegally; as of now, any such lands illegally encroached will be taken by,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that neither would he indulge in corruption nor allow anyone else to indulge in it.
“This issue is huge, and I will address a separate press conference on the issue,” he added.
The Goa government had announced the formation of a Special Investigation Team SIT to probe cases of land grabbing and illegal transfer of land ownership in the state.
“The state government had constituted an SIT for the first time ever to investigate the matters of land grabbing or illegal transfer of land,” he had said.
