BARDEZ: Candolim Police have registered an offence against a woman for allegedly assaulting a man and damaging household property during an incident at Orda, Candolim.
According to police, the offence was registered on April 29, 2026, at around 9:49 pm based on a complaint filed by Anil Pednekar, a resident of Orda, Candolim, Bardez.
Police said the accused, identified as Olga Vaz, also a resident of Orda, Candolim, allegedly damaged tea cups and a television belonging to the complainant with deliberate intention during the altercation.
The complainant further alleged that the accused assaulted him by pelting a tea cup at his head, causing a bleeding injury stated to be simple in nature.
Further enquiry in the case is in progress under HC 5812 Sudatta Kha.
