PONDA: Ponda Police has arrested three accused on charges of stealing copper cables from De Nora India Limited at Kundaim Industrial Estate worth Rs 2 lakhs.
As per complaint from De Nora India Limited, Kundai Industrial Estate, unknown culprit/s affected entry into De Nora India Limited company at Kundai and decamped with copper cables rolls worth Rs 2,00,000 and an FIR in this connection registered.
During the investigation, teams were formed, and after checking the CCTV Footage one Tata Ace vehicle was found to be involved in carrying the stolen property.
After hectic efforts, the sad Tata Ace was traced at Karaswada Mapusa, and the driver and two ladies were taken into custody.
The driver of the Tata Ace, namely Mohammed Mustafa s/o Mohammad Siddiqui, age 35 yrs, r/o Gothincho Val, Mushir Wado Bardez Colvale Goa N/O Sughapur Gonda Uttar Pradesh and both the ladies r/o Karaswada and N/o Karnataka was placed under arrest, and all the stolen property has been recovered from the instance of the accused.
The entire case was investigated and detected under the supervision of PI Vijaykumar Chodankar by PSI Aditya Velip, HC 4669 Kedarnath Jalmi, HC 5515 Hanumant Borkar PC 6435 Ameya Gosavi under the overall supervision of SDPO, Ponda CL Patil.
