PANAJI: Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL) today announced the completion and opening up for the use of the general public, three key roads in the heart of the capital city, Panaji ahead of its deadline.
These roads are Dr. Wolfgango de Silva Road (from EDC House to ORRA Jewellery Store) – length of 0.27 km), Dr. P. Shivgaonkar Road (from D V Road (Mahalaxmi) to M G Road) length of 0.20 km and Dr. Roque D’Souza Road (from Church Square to M G Road) – length of 0.20 km.
Sanjit Rodrigues, IAS, MD & CEO of IPSCDL said, “We had assured to complete these roads and open them for the general public by 26th January 2024 and we have kept to our promise.”
He further said that IPSCDL is working round the clock to meet the deadlines set by the state government and to ensure smooth flow of traffic and reduce inconveniences caused due to on-going works of Smart City Mission being undertaken on different stretches of the city.
