Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan met his wife Bushra Bibi and sister Noreen Niazi at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, marking his first meeting with them in several months after the Supreme Court directed authorities to allow regular family meetings. Khan, founder of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf party, has been imprisoned at Adiala Jail since 2023 and is facing multiple cases. Kathmandu: Indian Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth met Nepal Prime Minister and Defence Minister Balendra Shah on Tuesday, with the two sides discussing bilateral interests and ways to further strengthen military relations between the neighbouring countries. Mumbai: The Mumbai Police have initiated the legal process to conduct an in absentia trial against six Pakistani nationals accused of involvement in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, including Lashkar e Taiba chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. The police have formally approached Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, seeking the start of proceedings under Section 356 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad City Cyber Crime Branch has dismantled a sophisticated international cyber fraud network allegedly operating the so called ‘Boss Scam’, uncovering links spanning India, China, Pakistan and Hong Kong. The operation led to the arrest of two key suspects from West Bengal. Police said the crackdown helped protect more than 10,000 compromised devices and potentially prevented financial losses running into several crores. Mumbai: Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Munde has defended the department’s action against a Pune based sweets shop after the Bombay High Court ordered the FDA to pay ₹5 lakh to the establishment. New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said he would not raise the Union Territory’s internal issues during his scheduled meeting with US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor in Srinagar on Wednesday.
