The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Ajetrao, a resident of IDC Cuncolim and a native of Solapur, Maharashtra. Police said that at around 10.23 pm, they received information from PHC Balli that Ajetrao had been brought to the health centre by 108 ambulance personnel and was declared brought dead by the doctor on duty. According to police, a phone call was received from Robot staff at around 1.26 pm informing them about the man. He was subsequently shifted to SDH Chicalim by 108 ambulance personnel.
