According to police, the case was registered on October 4, 2026, at around 11.24 pm following a complaint lodged by PSI Laximan Dessai, aged 29, attached to Mandrem Police Station. Team Goemkarponn VASCO: An unidentified man, believed to be around 35 years old, was found unconscious on Platform No. 1 of Vasco Railway Station in the early hours of October 5, 2026. According to police, information about the incident was received at around 12.22 am from the Deputy Station Manager of Vasco Railway Station. Team Goemkarponn MAPUSA: A theft attempt was reported at a house in Mapusa, where a family member spotted a suspected thief inside the premises and raised an alarm. The family member, with the help of local residents, managed to catch the suspect and hand him over to the Mapusa Police.
