Ranchi: The Jharkhand Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested seven people after conducting coordinated raids across multiple districts in connection with the alleged Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examination scam. The arrests were made in Case No. 16/2026 as investigators executed warrants against individuals accused of involvement in irregularities linked to several competitive examinations conducted by the JPSC. New Delhi: Chief Justice Surya Kanta Mishra strongly criticised the Bar Council of India’s (BCI) directive that temporarily barred the enrolment of NALSAR University’s 2026 law graduates, calling the move “absolutely uncalled for” and questioning the Council’s interference in a matter involving students and the judiciary. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: The Panaji Children’s Court has accepted the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) closure report in connection with the rape of a minor schoolgirl in a toilet at a school in Vasco. The case had been investigated by the CBI for several years in an effort to identify and apprehend the person responsible for the alleged offence.
