According to the investigation, the accused allegedly persuaded members of the public to invest money by assuring them of attractive returns. However, investors reportedly did not receive their promised payouts, leading to complaints of cheating and financial irregularities. Team Goemkarponn BICHOLIM: Stepping up its anti-drug campaign, the Goa Police’s Anti Narcotic Police Station conducted a drug abuse prevention and awareness programme for around 250 students at Government Polytechnic, Mayem, with a focus on keeping young people away from narcotics and other addictive substances.
