The District Magistrate North Goa, R. Menaka, IAS has prohibited the entry of live poultry birds and eggs from within the radius of 10 kilometers of infected zones i.e from Mumbai, Thane, Parbhani, Dapoli and Beed areas of Maharashtra State into North Goa District. Further, the District Magistrate informed that the order dated January 12, 2021 issued under section 144 Cr. P.C. 1973 stands rescinded.

Panaji: EESL has successfully completed installation of 1 MW solar panels at the Cuncolim substation of Goa Electricity Department. The government of Goa has identified 18 sub-stations of Goa Electricity Department for installation of 100 MW power solar panels. Out of 100, 12 MW will be generated at these 18 sites, sources said. Officials further said that sites of Water Resources Department including canal have been identified to achieve the 100 MW target.
