PANAJI: Medical cell of Bharatiya Janata Party Goa State for Viksit Bharat organised “Sankalp Patra Sujhav Abhiyan Meet” for health care professionals on 12th March 2024 at Panaji under the able guidance of Sadanand Tanawde, Member of Rajya Sabha and Rohan Khaunte Ji, Minister of IT and Tourism, Govt of Goa
BJP has initiated the Viksit Bharat, Modi ki Guarantee program for inclusive Governance by engaging people from different strata of society.
Dr Shekhar Salkar, Conveyor of Goa Medical Cell of BJP expressed that it gives immense pride to be part of such initiatives bringing the medical community on one platform and able to voice opinions to strengthen public policy and governance.
Sadanand Tanawde, while addressing the doctors said that the medical community of the state is an integral part of society and BJP is committed towards welfare of the medical fraternity.
Rohan Khaunte added that medical professionals are unsung heroes of the country and its value has been realised during the pandemic, Khaunte assured the gathering that BJP under the leadership of the honourable Prime Minister is working towards making India the global leader.
The program was attended by Dr Sandesh Chodankar, President IMA Goa state branch and more then 25 doctors from various medical associations in the state, the suggestions given by the associations and individual doctors shall be scrutinised by higher authorities and if deemed fit will be added to the manifesto of upcoming General Election.
Representative from IMA Goa State, dental association , ayurveda association, pvt nursing home association, nursing association ,corporate hospitals and some influencers in medical fraternity attended and submitted their suggestions.
