PANAJI: Reacting to the 2/3rd split in Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Amit Palekar said that the MLAs betrayed the gods and the Goans as well.
“8 MLAs who joined the BJP in pursuit of wealth and power have not only betrayed Gods but Goans as well. Operation Lotus failed against AAP in Delhi but succeeded against Congress in Goa,” said Palekar.
He further said that Congress is nothing but a B-team of the BJP, and only AAP can overcome the BJP and give true development to Goa and a future to our youth.
“We are the only honest party in the country, and our MLAs will always work for Goans’ benefit. The BJP wants to make an opposition-free India,” he added.
Palekar said that BJP wants an opposition-free India and that is the reason they are trying every method to eliminate opposition.
“There have been attempts to bribe AAP leaders in Delhi and Punjab, but BJP has failed miserably. AAP currently is the sole alternative AAP is the only party in the nation that is strongly challenging the BJP,” Palekar said.
AAP Benaulim MLA Capt Venzy Viegas Congress has once again succumbed to Operation Lotus in Goa, and Arvind Kejriwal’s prediction that a vote for Congress is a vote for BJP has come true.
“Goan voters will never trust the backstabbing Indian National Congress again. AAP Goa remains the only party that can defeat the BJP. The two AAP MLAs will continue to be the voice of the opposition in the State and the Assembly,” said Viegas.
The MLA said that Congress MLAs were always on sale, and the time has come for Goans to realise the opportunistic politics of such politicians.
MLA Crus Silva reacting to the split, promised that AAP MLAs would not join any party and would work for the betterment of the common people.
