PANAJI: BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade today said that his party will cross the magic figure comfortably and will form the next government under the leadership of Dr Pramod Sawant.
“BJP will cross magic figure comfortably and, on its own, will form the next Government in Goa under Dr Pramod Sawant,” said Tanavade
Tanavade said from the response the BJP was getting statewide, it was certain the party will retain power easily.
“Different political parties are forming pre-poll alliances with the sole aim of defeating the BJP. But the people of Goa have understood this entire gameplan,” he claimed.
He said that BJP will form a government after March 10. 100 per cent. “We have been predicting right at the outset that we will win the election on its own. We are very firm, after our review,” Tanavade said
13 out of the 17 Congress MLAs had quit the party to join the ruling BJP between 2017-19.
