CANACONA: Town and Country Planning department has gone proactive in Canacona as 2nd police force is filed for illegal hill-cutting, but this time in Loliem-Polem village.
According to Canacona Police, upon the complaint of TCP Department’s Caancona Dy. Town Planner Office, Grade-II Draughtsmen Vinay Fal Dessai, lodged police complaint against three persons of Polem-Loliem for carrying out illegal hill cutting at six different places in property at survey no.290/5 of village Loliem prior to 11th of June ‘2024
TCP departmentment named one Anand Krishna Naik, Ratnakar Krishna Naik and Ulhas Krishna Nail, all residents of Polem has carried out illegal hill cutting at survey number.290/5 of village Loliem at Six different places without obtaining prior permission from Chief Town Planner (Land Use).
Cnacona police has registered an offense U/s 17A and 17B of TCP act against the three violators of TCP Act and further investigation is carried out by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
It may be recalled rece3ntly Dy. Town planner office Gr-II draughtsman had filed and police booked one resident of Agonda Sada Purushottam Naik Gaunkar, for carrying out illegal land filling in property bearing survey No. 68/1 of Village Agonda Canacona under similar sections of TCP Act.
