PANAJI: AICC Desk in charge for Goa, Manickam Tagore today said that candidates for the Lok Sabha polls will only be declared after formation of Congress Working Committee (CWC).
“Candidates for the Lok Sabha polls will only be declared after formation of Congress Working Committee (CWC). The CWC will be for by AICC President,” said Tagore
He further said that in the meeting it was discussed about the organisation of the party i.e how to develop our party in both North and South Goa.
“Our leaders will discuss the strategy for the Lok Sabha Polls,” he added
He also said that GPCC political affairs committee has passed a resolution expressing their solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.
“The opposition is not being allowed to speak in the parliament for the past one week. BJP is blocking the function of house for the first time in the history of India,” he added
He claimed that Rahul Gandhi only wanted to clarify and put his views but he is not being allowed to speak.
“It is a black day for democracy and attack on parliamentary proceedings shows that Modi govt wants to hide the Adani scam,” he said
