CANDOLIM: Candolim Police have registered a case against a 30-year-old driver for allegedly failing to return a Hyundai Creta entrusted to him by his employer.
The offence was registered at around 12.15 am on August 9, 2026, following a complaint by Rahul Rathod, a resident of Orda, Candolim, North Goa.
According to the complaint, the accused, Linshan Latheef, 30, a resident of Purayil, Kocherimukku, Kozhikode, Kerala, was employed by the complainant as a driver.
Police said the accused was entrusted with a Hyundai Creta bearing registration number GA-08-R-6850. On August 1, at around 1.30 pm, he allegedly left for his native place with the vehicle and subsequently failed to return it.
Police have registered the offence in connection with the alleged criminal breach of trust and initiated further investigation.
