PANAJI: Goa Forward Party (GFP) Leader Durgadas Kamat today alleged that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant wants to clear Police recruitment even before votes are counted on Mar 10 2022.
Kamat also said that his party will seek legal remedy and move the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
“CM Sawant wants to clear Police recruitment even before votes are counted on Mar 10 2022. It is learnt from reliable sources that moves are on to take permission from CEO and ECI to fast track recruitment,” said Kamat
He further said that his party would take the legal remedy and move the High Court of Bombay to Goa.
Kamat said that GFP President Vijai Sardesai had raised this issue in August and had appealed to youths not to fall prey to BJP’s job scam.
“Today also many candidates contacted us saying money is being demanded jobs. Even a BJP MLA has told me how jobs are sold. This is a very serious matter, and hence EC should intervene in it.” He said.
He demanded that this manipulative recruitment process be scrapped and that the Goa Staff Selection Commission should do recruitment.
“Not only in PWD and Police, but job scams are taking place in all departments. Although this, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is trying to shy away by saying ‘no comments’. This shows the irresponsible approach of the CM.” he said.
